Gumnut It's worth staying here just for the sense of being in such an old building where not that long ago monks still lived. There are private rooms on the top floor which are worth taking for the views alone. Relatively clean throughout. Bathroom serviceable with hot water. The hosts have tried to create several spaces for meditation and yoga although I didn't see anyone using them. Breakfast, for a small additional cost, provided in the large communal dining room, nicely prepared. A missed opportunity to provide a wonderful communal dinner however; there's a restaurant about 500m away that does a great Pilgrim meal and is worth going to. I didn't feel that the facilities were suitable for self catering. |

María José Enciso Supongo que es cuestión de los hospitaleros. Nosotros pasamos el dia 21 de abril y había dos hospitaleros encantadores, pero tenían el albergue algo descuidado. No estaba muy limpio. Entramos en la cocina a hacernos una infusión y allí había un perro (del hospitalero) que se hizo pis en el suelo de la cocina. Era su sitio de dormir. El desayuno cuesta 4€. |

Beatrix I stayed here in September 2022 and - after climbing several flights of stairs to the top floor - was welcomed by a friendly hospitaleiro. There were only four single beds in my room, so I had a good, quiet night. The shower facilities are simple but clean and functional. For dinner I went out to a little restaurant, but you can also shop in the village and cook your own meal. Breakfast was provided in the albergue (tea, coffee, toast, jam, cereals). I would stay there again. |

Vanda Sousa Place of great beauty. The hospitaleiros cooked for the group and made everybody feel at home. Great breakfast! The true Camino spirit. I highly recommend it! |

Andrea Miesebner es gibt nur Einzelbetten - in 4 und 6 Bettzimmern (10,-- Euro) Doppelzimmer auf Wunsch - nur etwas teurer (15,-- Euro). genügend Decken vorhanden. auch für größere Gruppen gibt es Möglichkeiten! Restaurant und Mini-Markt in der Nähe. |

Lukk Albergue algo viejo pero limpio, colchón y almohada plastificada, no dan sábanas desechables, bastantes mantas disponibles por si uno tiene frío. Por poner un pero, hay que subir a un 3º y si quieres tender tras la jornada pesa. |

Fernando Menezes Não se trata de um albergue de luxo. Porém a acolhida é das melhores que já vi. A hospitaleira chefe, Carla, é daquelas pessoas que só se vê em contos de fada. Ela dedica sua vida ao albergue e aos peregrinos com essência. O ponto alto é o jantar comunitário. O Mosteiro de Vairão é uma experiência que todo peregrino deveria viver. |
