Casa Mattos - Comentarios

This was a wonderful place to stay. Our host and hostess made us feel welcome in their home, that has been in their family for generations. We had a spacious room with our own spotlessly clean bathroom. Their garden was lovely, and there was a nice place to sit outside. Though we don’t speak Portuguese and they don’t speak English, we really enjoyed talking with them using a mixture of Italian, Portuguese, and a translation app. As we don’t speak Portuguese, it might have been easier to get someone to call for us to make a booking, or had we planned in advance, we could have sent a What’s App message.
