Albergue de peregrinos de San Esteban de Leces - Comentarios

Agosto 2023.Albergue espectacular, atención...rayando la corrección; se entiende que una persona no pueda estar ahí todo el tiempo (aún que sea más bien gerencia, que voluntariedad) pero las maneras...son las maneras. Había algún problema con los animales circulantes, cierre y apertura de puertas.Problemas fáciles de resolver con algo de organización dirigida correctamente. Bien en general. Terraza inigualable.

Muy buen albergue, con un jardín espectacular y una tranquilidad perfecta. Estuve muy bien atendido por Yoli y su marido. Repetiría sin duda.

This is the first time I ever write a comment, and I am quite sad, that it is a negative one... I stayed 3 nights at the albergue san esteban, helping out as a volunteer. I was working with a very nice guy, who also just works there for the season, so starting there i hadn't met the owners, because they where just not around. On the 3ed day, first came the women who owns/owed the albergue, being quite rude to me and the other guy in front of the pilgrims, which I didn't understood... than she left, seeming angry. Later that day (July 1st) in the evening around 10 o'clock, the owner, known as " el gringo" came with his young son. First being friendly and than, very sudden, started to shout at his son, until he cried. They went up to the second floor, where they apparently life and he went on screaming around for an hour with the windows open. Some of the pilgrims asked me what was going with that man. .. the story unfortunately goes on till half pass one in the night... I have never met a person who behaved so rude, being very insulting and very aggressive, having no respect, using words I will not repeat here. And his poor son, I feel very sorry for! As the other guy is really nice and keeps the albergue clean, it's a good place to stay for a night, but I would think twice to volunteer there when the owner is around, he just doesn't seem to be a stable person. I left early in the morning and was lucky not to met this person again.

It wasn't clean with moquitos everywhere, the shower area is really bad. The place where we should keep the shoes is not covered, and it was raining at night so we had to wear them wet . The rooms are a bit crowded. I have been in other albergues and I know what the basics are, but this one was below the basics. There is nothing around to buy food, so it is recommended to buy some before arriving (if you are searching for more options) well, they have a small market in the albergue where you can buy some frozen pizza , wine and drinks etc.

El personal es Amable. Ropa de cama es de algodón. Las instalaciones ( duchas y váter) son insuficientes en número para las plazas que tienen.

El albergue está bien pero le falta un poco de limpieza.

Very friendly and great prices. And nicely quiet. Adorable family. It' a Refuge and pretty cheap. Do not raise the expectations too high. It's a nice welcoming home. A good recommendation for hikers and adventurers.

Auberge pour pèlerins, comme on aime. Bonne alternative pour ne pas passer la nuit à Ribadesella, on peut cuisiner, les dortoirs sont Top...

Buena alternativa para no pernoctar en Ribadesella, albergue bien y la comida que te venden ahí un poco cara, vale la pena conocer a la hospitalaria, muy atenta
