Perfect after a hot long climb. The room was well appointed and the beds very comfortable. Our room had a bath - luxury! Dinner was delicious; fried trout for me and a good sized steak for hubby. Breakfast was self serve for an early start. WhatsApp the owner to reserve.

This is the PERFECT spot to break up this stage. It also has great food and wine. All this at a reasonable price. Note—- the easy way here is to turn left when you cross the bridge. If the river is up, continue up the hill. Just after the small church is a path to the left. Take that and you can get here without getting wet. Well worth the small detour.

This was a great place to break the long and arduous stage between Quiroga and Monforte de Lemos. As others have noted, Jose Luis is a great host. He's extremely solicitous, and even walked me through the steps of how to use the coffee maker in the morning. Dinner was very good, and breakfast was ample. The rooms themselves are very comfortable, and it's a great quiet location. It turned out also that I left something behind, and Jose Luis did me the great kindness of delivering it to my lodging in Montfort de lemos. He's the embodiment of the Camino provides.

Fantastic place to break this stage. Jose Luis and Pepe were fabulous hosts, and we really enjoyed the simple but delicious food that we had for dinner. Also, the wine and orujo are made by Pepe, and well worth sampling!

Todo muy limpio, agradable y muy correcto. Mos ofrecieron una comida sencilla pero muy bien elaborada con productos de la tierra, nos ofrecieron desayuno antes de salir a la mañana. Muy recomendable

Trato y amabilidad excepcionales. La pensión está muy bien y excelentemente cuidada y preparada. La comida, cena y desayuno fueron buenísimos. Un oasis en medio del camino. 100% recomendable.

An oasis. This place has been in the family for many years and making guests feel welcome is certainly their gift. My room and bathroom were spotless. Enjoyed sitting outside for dinner. All the food was delicious. But what makes this place a special is the kindness of the family who run it. Highly, highly recommend.
