Very organised, nice food, generous lunch provision. Dorm beds have curtains for privacy, and no bunk beds.

Great location, modern, clean, and well thought out. Nice alternative to Orisson.

Extended our walk GR65 to Pamplona, we had the opportunity to stay at Borda lodge. This is one of the our favourites on our way. Lovely, clean, new, comfortable accommodation with great bathrooms. Laurent was the perfect host and very organised. Our dinner was beautiful, food was yummy and we also enjoyed our introductions before dinner. Top stay, we would recommend staying here well and truly worth it.

18-th of May 2022. I have all reasons in the world. First, it is a very cosy place. You feel home. Second, Laurent, the hospitalero and owner, is well prepared, experienced and knows feel a good start in the Camino. Mine, was the first night, because before I have slept in Bayonne. I have got a limonade as an wellcome. Then the dinner, wos an event. Everybody presended himself. The dishes were spectacular, not at all comercial. I really like it and recomand it. And, as a plus, is the last auberge in France, transforming the ostdifficult day, in a pleasant one. Thank you!

Molt net i còmode.

Wonderful meal with introductions. More than half way to Santiago 7 of us found each other at an albergue over a meal. Bed great. Host welcomed us with lemonade.

This is one of the best and cleanest places on the Camino in my opinion, and I have walked the various Caminos over 20 times. Yes, Laurent is strict, and he runs a tight ship, but it makes for a beautifully clean and organized stay. You don’t have to worry about bedbugs because packs are left downstairs. You don’t have to worry about Pilgrims getting in the shower and staying 20 minutes and using all the hot water because you have timed showers that are adequate for any Pilgrim. I have to admit, and I have told Laurent, that my first impression was that he was strict. But all of that dissolved as the hours went by and we understood his reasons were for everyone’s good. We absolutely loved him! The dinner was exceptional . The introductions before dinner gave us all a chance to get to know each other and made for camaraderie that may not have happened otherwise. I found his story very interesting myself as I did the stories of the other Pilgrims. The private room is a gem and well worth the price. The Hostal beds are extremely clean, private, and adequate. Everybody has a place to put their things and plug in their own cell phone. The only thing lacking was toilet paper in the morning and that was probably because pilgrims took the toilet paper, which they often do. Breakfast was healthy. There was plenty of food. I had a group of eight people and we were all very very happy with this lodging. Keep it up Laurent, and good luck to you in the future! I hope to sleep here again.

One of the best albergues on the camino! Great host, lovely dinner, beds with curtains, not too big, great sunrise. The only downside was the dust in the rooms (I'm allergic). Buy the sandwich he offers for lunch, it was really good!
