anamanyas My friend and I arrived at Gîte les 4 Chemins the 12th of July 2025, honestly one of our favourite ones in the Via Podiensis. Even though we were super early to get there, Marion welcomed us and proposed that we could enjoy the living room for pilgrims which was amazingly comfy and well decorated. Thanks to them we could enjoy an afternoon of nice conversations with other fellow pilgrims. Marion let us use the washing machine for free if we shared the wash with any other pilgrim interested. She was also kind enough to lend a bed sheet for my friend when hers was not totally dry in the evening. The rooms and bathrooms were all very clean and renovated. Everything was perfect because this gîte is run by extremely dedicated people who put all their HEART and sould into it. What we truly loved about the place was the pilgrims friendly environment, all thanks to the hosts who are always ready to share talks and experiences and to please their guests no matter what. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. During dinner, Marion shared some important advice making the highlight of our evening. We strongly recommend you guys choose this gîte for your stay and if you do, do not miss the blueberry cake they sell at the bar. Lovely! |

ColetteZ A wonderful new Gîte (5*) that offers the warmth and spirit of the Camino. Christophe & Marion, the owners, are really nice people, caring and truly happy to open their doors to pilgrims. Rooms have 2-5 beds, mattresses, pillows and bedding are new, bathrooms are modern. Dinner was homemade pea soup followed by pork butt steak with a sweet apple onion sauce, basmati rice, bread (also a vegetarian main course offered) and vegan cake for dessert. Breakfast is self serve (coffee/teas, chocolate, yoghurt, bread, jams etc). Definitely stay here if you want a relaxing, quiet end of the day hideaway from all the boisterous pilgrims in bigger centres. |

The Walking Kat This was one of the nicest gîtes I have stayed on the Voie du Puy. The new owners Marion and Christophe are wonderful and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfy and Marion made a delicious dinner. She will also make a vegetarian option if you ask. |
