Hostal Málaga - Comentarios

This is my 4th time in Cañaveral. I always stayed at the albergue, but the owner would always kind of mock the pilgrims who suffered to reach the village - it always felt that we were lame for being so tired after the long walk from Casar de Cáceres. We looked at his credential - he cycled the Camino, and has a very different experience from someone who walks. I arrived at Hostal Malaga, in the rain, and a man welcomed me in and showed me to my room. A great guy, btw. The @ is fast, the bathroom has hot and cold water, there is air-con, and over the road there is a tienda with such lovely people. The albergue is 16 Euros for a shared room, and I paid 20 Euros for a single room at Hostal Málaga. I'd take the single room every time - a great price and no owner when you arrive who looks down on you for something that he has no direct experience of. 10/10. Tip! Go to the nearby Churreria in the morning - it opens early!
