Albergue de San Nicolás de Puente Fitero - Comentarios

High recommendation...and one of my favorite Camino memories however.... this is not a 5-star hotel, no baggage service, mobile coverage is ZERO, there is no shopping, no town, donativo-no reservations, the shower and toilet is out behind the church, everyone eats communal meals, sleeps, does everything in the sanctuary of this simple, small, medieval church. The volunteers greet you with coffee, cookies, and a hug and then proceed to cook and wait on you and.. in a service of blessing wash your feet as Jesus commands. At 6:00 am they ring the bell, breakfast, pack, hugs, and you are back on the Camino. A very memorable experience! I will definitely stay here next time, will you?
