Albergue de peregrinos de Areias-Ferreira do Zêzere - Comentarios

To get to this albergue you choose the Areias fork in the woods and walk a very pleasant path through the trees. There is also an ancient grave to visit on the way. This alternative path is well signed. There is a cafe in the village, which I didn't try because there happened to be a festival on when I visited and the school PTA stall made me a massive bowl of salad. Please remember to contact the albergue owners by whatsapp to book and let them know what time you will arrive, or you may have a long wait. The albergue is very clean and new. The kitchen is equipped with a kettle and a multi oven. Showers are great.
