I am planning to walk the Camino del Norte soon and was wondering if anyone could share insights on some of the less-traveled route variations along the way. I've read that there are alternative paths to avoid busy sections or to enjoy different scenery, but I'm not sure which ones are worth considering.

Are there any sections you'd recommend taking an alternative path, or should I stick to the main route? Also, any advice on where to find up-to-date maps for these variations?
