Serious thief on the caminho
Hi friends
Sorry to inform you that:
There is guy on the caminho who pretends he lost all his money and ask for you to borrow.
After discussion and aggreement, he shows you via smartphone that he sended back the money by bank transfer... and goes to sleep.
Five minutes later, he disappears, deletes the transfer and that's it. You lost 150 euros.
The guy was in direction of Porto, he found a car to escape quickly , but I think he will do his scam again on one of the caminhos.
I have all informations about him, name, ID number, photo,..., the police has been informed and is on the case, but be careful.
He is a 40 years guy (borned in 1983). Short hairs. Sport. Drinks quite a lot (according witness). He is from Poland. Thomas E.
You can exchange informations if you heard about him of course.

De esos que cuentan que les han robado el dinero o que su tarjeta no es aceptada por el cajero local he visto ya unos cuantos. La picaresca es tan vieja como el propio Camino. Y no olvidar a esas que van con una especia de formulario pidiendo firmas y tratando de llevarse lo que puedan de los peregrinos descuidados.
