Northern way in July/August?
Hi everyone,
I am new here planning my first Camino starting 16-17 of July. I have chosen the Northern way and would like to ask here about the municipal albergues on the Northern road. If anyone has got new information, please share!

Hi Anita! Nodody knows precisely how many Municipal Albergues will be opened in the coming weeks. The last update as i know is that Municipal Albergues will be closed in Pais Vasco region and opened in Galicia region start at 1th july. We all hope that some Private Albergues will be opened in all northern regions. Al least we expect that most of traditional Hostels are opening in the next days...

Some pilgims have been discussing about that and they made a list of open Albergues from Asturias to Santiago. You have the info In the following link:

En el Camino del Norte, te vendrán bien las siguientes lenguas: castellano, euskera, asturiano y gallego (la gente que no vive de la hosteleria te agradecerá saludos y frases de cortesía en alguna de tales lenguas, según la zona en que estés).
