Getting from Biarritz to St Jean Pied de Port
Hello all, I'm arriving into Biarritz Airport on Tuesday 26th June at around 7pm and don't seem to be able to find much in the way of transport option over to JPDP except for a ridiculously expensive taxi (c£150). Seems as though the last train is at 7 something from Bayonne (which I can't make in time) and there are no buses I can see.
Am I missing something?

I should also add, I'd be happy to share the cost of said taxi or ride share if someone else is facing the same issue

Evening Paul.

First of all, welcome to the forum. You'll find all sorts of useful info here but I 'm afraid you've joined a bit late. See this forum will be shut down as of July 4th.
No one knows the reason why except for the people at Gronze. Gronze hasn't given any reason but those who have crystal ball say they know why.
The answer you got from Carapau night be of some help. If not you just might have to stick around and go the next morning.
If you're willing to accept a bit of advice from an old man here it goes -
Don't rush your Camino. Take you time. Don't wear horse blinders. Look around. And above all ENJOY your walk.
Let me be the first to wish you a " Buen Camino"

Thanks to you both, I contacted the website above and they had a transfer available with 4 other pilgrims, saved me £125! :-)
Hi Mendiwalker, actually its not my 'first rodeo' - I did a combined Norte, Primativo, then the last bit of French then to Muxia/Finisterre last summer! Just doing a couple of weeks this time.
Well actually Paul I remind everyone including myself. People tend to rush things and in the end miss out on lots of them.
Ondo Ibili!
