Bag transfer

I am walking Sarria to Santiago mid July when I am over that side of the world visiting a new grandchild.  Due to an old back injury I manage, I need to have my pack transferred along the way.  Do I book these transfers in advance or is it ok to arrange this as I go?   I was going to book my accommodation independently. Any advice appreciated - thank yousmiley

En julio ese tramo de camino que piensas realizar esta demasiado frecuentado, por lo que te aconsejo lleves los alojamientos reservados, lo del transporte de mochila no tendras problemas.  Buen camino!

Good morning, the transport of the backpack in the stages will not be a problem, in the hostels or hostels you will find information on how to do it.

Greetings

Good way

Hello Lynbanana, the transport of backpacks is very simple, you have several alternatives. I recommend that you use the Spanish mail service. You must anticipate that if you use backpack transport, it will be difficult for you to use the public shelter service. This is the link https://www.correos.es/es/es/particulares/ocio-y-viajes/haz-el-camino-de...

Buen camino!

Thank you so much for your comments. I am coming from New Zealand and will only be in Europe for 5 weeks so unfortunately July is the only time I can do the Camino:-(  SInce it is so busy, it I might be better doing a reserved accomodation/ bag transfer package??  I truly appreciate your wisdom and advice.

From Sarria in July will be overcrowed .

Consider another route  . Maybe Portuguese Way  (many people , not overcrowed ) , Fisterra-Muxia, English way from Ferrol
