This is THE BEST of the Camino! Sabine and Uli are tremendous hosts. Sabine is the laundry servicer for the smelly pilgrim; she also makes wonderful homemade dessert! Uli wears many hats…that of chef and knowledgeable previous trekker of multiple Caminos. They have refurbished the hostel into a top-rated Albergue, worth ensuring you make it a “must-stop” for the night. Beds are low-singles, comfy with real sheets, blanket and comforter. The evening meal was outstanding, homemade delicacies, with wonderful discussion with the hosts. They even sent me onward the next morning with a fully packed lunch featuring their homemade, special bread! Love the place!

Sabine y Uli son dos hospitaleros vocacionales y se nota. Han hecho de su casa un lugar de acogida para el peregrino. Estancia con 4 camas, cada una con sábanas y toalla para tu uso exclusivo. Me recibieron muy amablemente con un vaso de bebida isotónica y se preocuparon en todo momento por mi estancia. Estaba sólo y tuve la suerte de poder cenar con ellos y disfruté su compañía y su cocina... deliciosa. A partir de las 6:00h de la mañana te preparan el desayuno a la hora que quieras y allí están los dos (en mi caso a las 6:00h) acompañándome con un café mientras yo daba cuenta del mejor desayuno del Camino (como también, con mucho, lo había sido la cena). Para mí, entre SJPP y Burgos (no conozco más del Camino todavía) un genuino albergue y refugio para el peregrino. Fecha alojamiento: 26/7/21

Very friendly, excellent food, hospitaleros really care about the pilgrims. We even got a very generous breakfast at 6am. Very good beds with bed linen and towels for free. There is a nice garden to sit, directly on the Camino.
