Being located in Spain, Gronze is subject to compliance with Spanish and European regulations regarding data protection and information society services.

Purpose of the treatment
Registered users : To manage user status so that they can participate in forums, review accommodations, comment on news, or access certain types of pages exclusively for them, and also for the use of the Gronze Maps app.
To send notifications about a specific discussion if this feature has been explicitly enabled by the user.
For sending private messages between users if you have activated the Contact Form in your user profile.
Submission of Forms: To receive and manage comments, suggestions, and updates to Accommodation and Trail information.
Sending Newsletters: To send by email the newsletters that have been expressly requested by the user.
Poster Sales: For the collection and shipping of the Poster-Map of the Ways of St. James.
Browsing data: For all users, both registered and non-registered, we store browsing data in order to understand and improve user experience on the site.
Login data: For the use of Gronze Maps , Gronze.com login data (access tokens) will be stored in the browser or device on which the app is installed, in order to enable access to the Gronze.com API.
Location Data : Gronze Maps stores some location data related to specific maps and data viewed by the user. This data will be stored on the user's device for the sole purpose of presenting maps and other location-related information, improving performance, and facilitating navigation.

The use of maps, and especially the use of the Gronze Maps application, sometimes involves the use of the geographic location of the device being used, with prior authorization from the user.
Who we share data with
Personal data provided by users to Gronze will not be shared with third parties except with administrative or judicial authorities under legal obligation.
Other anonymous and statistical browsing data is stored directly by external service providers such as Google Analytics .
Using social plugins or widgets
On some of our pages we use third-party social plugins such as Facebook , Twitter , YouTube , Vimeo , etc.
These networks collect browsing information and technical data from users and can associate it with a specific user if you have logged into the service.
Using maps
Navigation and geographic location data, also of an anonymous and statistical nature, may be stored by external services that provide mapping data such as Mapbox.(link is external) or Google Maps .
Data retention
User data will be retained for the time necessary to provide the service for which it was collected.
For registered users, data will be retained indefinitely unless the user wishes to exercise their right to erasure.
As a general rule, data that is no longer necessary to provide the service or comply with other legal obligations will be deleted or anonymized within a maximum period of 12 months.
Browsing data for both registered and anonymous users will be retained for a maximum of 12 months.
Cancellation of user account
Any user can unsubscribe at any time from their user area, logging in with their username and password.
In this case, the data will be blocked and unpublished immediately, and it will be deleted after the period necessary to guarantee our legal obligations and resolve disputes.
User-submitted content will be unpublished, deleted, or anonymized on a case-by-case basis.
User Rights
Any Gronze user has the possibility of exercising their rights granted by law free of charge, either through the contact form available on the website or by sending an email to info@gronze.com.
