Sí 10/06/25	Michael Cain The last couple days on the VF were rough - trails overgrown with thorny plants or busy roads lined with trash bins! But the last 9 km into Rome were iconic, and the Spedale was the perfect place to end a pilgrimage.

Sí 25/03/24	alnetloc We stayed 2 nights (the max allowed) and were provided breakfast (only bread and coffee) and dinner both days. Dinner was great! - generous portions, local food, well prepared, and delicious, along with wine. Clean dormitory beds with mattress and pillow covers, hot showers. Two things to be aware of: a bit annoying is that you have to leave your pack below in courtyard and carry anything you need up in a small tote - probably to reduce bed bug transmission, but an inconvenience nonetheless; also, you must leave the convent facility between 9am and 3pm (but can safely leave your stuff) - not sure why, but that is the rule. Overall, I highly recommend, for a donativo facility!
No 17/09/23	Mia Mia El albergue es muy bueno, centrico, limpio, con cena y desayuno comunitario. El lugar es tranquilo con un patio y sala de estar amplios. Ahora bien, es un peligro publico que no puedas salir libremente. Cierran la puerta con llave y sin permiso de los hospitaleros no puedes salir. Es una imprudencia muy grave, la salida de cualquier espacio cerrado debe ser libre. Nos sentimos atrapados.
Sí 09/08/23	Lapulapu Estupenda ubicación en Trastevere. Acogida maravillosa, ... como en casa. Cena y desayuno comunitarios. Estuvimos anoche Salvatore y yo antes de empezar nuestro periplo por la Francigena del Sud. Vamos...no hay mejor manera de empezar o acabar un camino. Parada obligatoria y los hospitaleros de 5 estrellas.
Sí 07/07/23	Xumor La llegada a Roma es vacía sin este albergue. La mejor acogida tradicional peregrina en una ubicación inmejorable. Inconcebible acabar la peregrinación en otro lugar.
Sí 10/05/23	Nora Sullivan I can only agree with previous remarks. I was extremely luck to have Piero and Mario, two amazing volunteers I had stayed with in San Gimignano, and again this was an unforgettable evening with sharing and laughter. I even stayed two nights - allowed if you've walked many stages. It's also centrally located in Trastevere, a very popular neighbourhood. What a great way to finish the VF! Can't thank the Confraternita di San Jacopo de Perugia enough.
Sí 16/10/22	Antón Pombo Nunca podremos agradecer lo suficiente, a la Confraternita di San Jacopo de Perugia, que ofrezca en pleno Trastevere de Roma este gran albergue a los peregrinos. Te acogen los hospitaleros voluntarios, se practica el emotivo rito del lavatorio de pies (como en San Nicolás de Puentefitero), y se hacen la cena y el desayuno comunitarios. Los dormitorios son amplios, y en el salón puedes dejar tu bastón, si ya has concluido la ruta, o tomar uno, si la comienzas (también acogen a quienes comienzan aquí su camino hacia Santiago, o la Vía de San Francesco).
Sí 18/08/22	Isidro García Por todo: Magnífico emplazamiento en el Trastevere. Un edificio de los que uno espera encontrar en el centro de Roma (¿antiguo palacio? con patios y jardines). Y lo mejor, el espíritu de los hospitales voluntarios. Puedes, y debes, participar de la cena, y el desayuno comunitario. Magnifica forma de comenzar la peregrinación
Sí 29/07/22	siebenking Merece la pena hacer 2000km sólo por hospedarte aquí. Albergue en un entorno fantástico, en el centro de Roma. Lo mejor sus voluntarios y el ambiente que le dan de sitio auténtico. Hacen el ritual de limpiarte los pies. Cenas y desayunos comunitarios.
Sí 27/05/22	Walkmun A great place to stay at the end of the Via Francigena. The hospitaleiros were all volunteers who had themselves walked various caminos. They gave us a warm welcome and a good communal dinner and breakfast. There is an enclosed garden courtyard that is quite spacious with well tended flowering plants. The bedrooms had bunk beds but these were well spaced out and very clean. Congratulations to the team.
