Norte or Norte/Primitivo
I'm just starting to plan my 2nd Camino (did the Frances last Sept/October) and I'm hoping to get opinions if I should do the entire Norte or do the Norte until I can go down and get on to the Primitivo. Difficulty and weather is a factor but probably the biggest factor is services and ease of finding places to sleep. If it matters I will be going late May or early June 2019.

Normally, in May or June There is no problem at all on the weather point, although it could be quite muddy, especially till Santander.
I did it in may 2015 and no problem to find places to sleep but I was told that there are more and more pilgrims. I suppose albergues are more too...
The options for Primitivo : I would say yes. Before gijon, take the Oviedo direction. It is very well indicated. Going through the primitivo after the first part of Norte will diversify the lanscapes and the primitivo is one of the "top" caminos. If you do so, don't forget to stop at bodenaya...
That's what I did. As I wanted to finish also the norte, I did it with the "Salvador" Wonderful camino too with very few peregrinos.

Ve mirando la previsión del tiempo para ver que llevas en la mochila. Para esas fechas no se prevee mal tiempo.
En 2017 más de 2000 peregrinos hicieron ese camino en junio, posiblemente puedas encontrar algún sitio para dormir fácilmente.

Yo creo que si inicias el del Norte, mejor que lo acabes sin saltarte a otro Camino. En otra ocasión haz el Primitivo completo.
En mayo y junio ya hay bastantes peregrinos en cualquiera de los dos Caminos. En cuanto a lluvia, en junio menos que en mayo, pero siempre la podrás encontrar.
